Handycam utility cannot import to network drive

I have a Sony Handycam and when I try to import videos from the camera to the drive (C:) on the computer via Handycam Utility software it works fine.

But when I try to change the destination folder for the files to a networkdrive that is connected to my computer via wi-fi the software will not allow me to press "ok" when I have selected the networkdrive-folder.

Are there anyone who can help me out please?

Yesterday I bought a SONYaction cam HRD-AS15.

I didnt found the program for remote control with my Nokia LUMIA smartphone (win mobile 8.0).

Does anyone have an idea that if in the future the program will be available for download?

For GOpro application is available, whay there is no APP For Sony? Any specific reason?

I have the latest version of Play Memories Home but it always closes short after I start it and I cannot use it. I have Windows 7, 64bit. Why this?

USB Drivers for Windows 7

Sony DCR-TRV33E Camcorder (Purchased new in 2004)

This camer worked fine with my previous Windows XP and Windows Vista computers but I now have a new Windows 7 PC and when I connect my video camera to it via USB cable Widows 7 cannot find the USB driver for it and displays a message saying "Device driver software was not successfully installed", "No driver found" and "Unidentified Device". The Sony website offers a USB driver USBDRVEN.EXE dated 1/1/2007 but this is for Windows 98 (SE), ME, 2000 and XP systems only. Will it work on the Windows 7 OS? If not then where do I get the Windows 7 driver for my camera?

that itself is amazing as all my pics going back to 2004 are catalogued properly. howver my video files from old cameras are not showing in the calendar?~ any ideas ?? thanks in a hopeful advance

Can someone throw some light as how best to downlond video and audio from Sony Ccd-Trv27e handycam using a Dazzle dvc100 into windows 7.

Can download but cannot download audio. Tried windows movie maker& media player- but having problems with file recognise and no audio. Am using RAC Jacks (yellow and red)

Hi,

I went looking for a particular photo to upload it to Flickr, and I discovered that the folder names created by PlayMemories on the PC, one per day, are named in the format dd-mm-yyyy. This is not too smart becuse the folders are not automatically sorted by date. Rather, you have the folder for the 1st Jan, then the folder for 1st Feb, then 1st Mar, then 2nd Jan, 2nd Feb etc etc.

Is there a config option that I haven't found yet that tells the software to use smart foldernames?

Help with transferring micromv tapes to PC

Hi All,

Many years ago I bought a DCR-IP55 micromv camcorder. I'd built up a collection of 20 or so tapes which have sat in the cupboard till now, all containing valuable footage of my children growing up.

Now that I have a bit more time on my hands I'm looking to transfer the videos from the micromv tapes to my PC. However, I wish I had tried doing this before as its proving difficult.

I connected the i-link cable to the camcorder and fired up MovieShaker 3.3. I kicked off the transfer but the program crashed. It has done that everytime. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and tried version 3.1, but its just not playing ball.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to get the video footage off the micromv tapes and onto my PC whilst my 9 year old camcorder still works?

How can I copy images/video clips to my iPad from my HDR AS15 action cam via WiFi? I can connect and control the cam from the iPad using WiFi and can initiate the copying process but a warning pops up saying that they cannot be copied.

How do you tag Sony RX100 RAW FILES? I need it for search index to work on my computer. I take thousands of pictures per year and without tags on them, chaos will follow. Windows will not let me tag Sony RAW files, only Jpeg files. Surely, there must be a way to tag Sony RAW files. I also cannot display them on my Adobe CS-5, editing software. The new Adobe RAW update DNGConerter 7.2 dng will not load up on Adoby CCS-5 for some reason I do not know. So I have no way to update the tags.It is a wonderful camera, however without these very important tools it makes things harder for keeping a track on where my Sony RAW files are. Editing and indexing on my chosen pro-software; which is Adobe, is necessary. I have try Sony RAW software; however, there does not seem to be a way to tag with this software as you can on Adoby Bridge.

How do you tag Sony RX100 RAW FILES?

One of the leaves on my Sony HX-20v compact camera sticks but can be pushed open easily. I sent it to Birmingham Specialist Service but they quotes me over £300 for a new lens assembly and were singularly unhelpful and slow throughout (I'm still waiting for my camera back).

Does anyone have any ideas about how and where I can get it repaired at reasonable cost - it's agreat camera otherwise?

SDXC download problem with Win XP

I have recently bought a Cybeshot camera (DSC-TX20) and fitted it with a 64 GB SanDisk Ultra SDXC memory card. The camera works fine and I have lots of photos and videos from a recent trip. However, I cannot download the content to my laptop: neither through the USB cable nor by inseting the SD card into the built-in card-reader slot.

My laptop is a Toshiba Tecra M9 running Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3. It has an SD Card slot but when I insert the card, the computer tells me it is not formatted. Sony indicate that this is incorrect, so not to format the card and lose the content.

The Sony "Tips and solutions" suggests that updating PlayMemories Home to version 1.3.03 may solve the problem but it doesn't! Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
