Vaio care has identified an update for recovery partition. When I download it and re-start it has failed to install. Have tried manually by downloading and running exe. file but get message cannot update unknow error code=00000401.
Has anyone else had similar problems ? and if so what was solution.
The only thing that I could think of is it might be that the recovery partion is read only. What it is trying to do is write on it. Just my theory here though.
Hi, did you find a solution to this as I have the same problem and it is really annoying. I have tried to call Sony for support but they have been working on this for few weeks with no response!
