Sony today announces the launch of the REON POCKET PRO Plus, the new flagship model in its wearable thermo device series. Available from 12 May, this kit features the newly developed "Adaptive Hold Design" dedicated neckband and improved cooling efficiency, offering a personalised thermal experience that adapts to the user's environment and movement.

Key features of the REON POCKET PRO Plus

Series-leading cooling performance with -2°C surface temperature

Driven by a newly optimised cooling algorithm and high-efficiency thermal design, the REON POCKET PRO Plus achieves up to 20% higher cooling performance (*1) compared to the previous model. In SMART COOL mode, the surface temperature of the cooling plate is reduced by an additional 2°C (*2), delivering the most powerful cooling experience in the series' history. The device utilises high-precision sensors to monitor skin temperature in real-time, ensuring safe and comfortable cooling compliant with international standards.

New "Adaptive Hold Design" for unwavering stability

The included dedicated neckband has been completely re-engineered with an "Adaptive Hold Design". By increasing the diameter of the mechanical flexible tubing, holding force has been improved by approximately 40% (*3). This allows the device to maintain a secure fit and optimal contact with the body, even during walking or light activity, without sacrificing comfort.

Adjustable Airflow Parts for discreet wear

The airflow exhaust mechanism now features an adjustable design, allowing users to extend the length and modify the angle of the vents. This ensures efficient heat dissipation regardless of collar height or clothing style, allowing the device to remain discreet while maintaining peak performance.

REON POCKET TAG 2: Compact and versatile

Launching alongside the main unit is the REON POCKET TAG 2, a wearable sensing device that is approximately 18% smaller (*5) than its predecessor. The new design replaces the rear clip with a strap hole and carabiner, offering versatile attachment options for bags or belt loops to measure ambient temperature and humidity with precision.
