14 September, 2019, Amsterdam: Germany’s leading provider of production equipment, Teltec Group has signed a deal with Sony at IBC for 150 of its new PXW-FX9 camcorders, which had their debut at the IBC conference. The deal has been agreed based on Teltec’s existing relationship with Sony and the FX9 advanced 6K* Full-Frame sensor and its fast hybrid Auto Focus.

The PXW-FS7 and PXW-FS7M2 have been hugely popular and we know Sony is always at the forefront of new technologies. The new PXW-FX9 is a real step forward, with its advanced features it’s a very versatile camcorder and we are proud to be one of the first companies in Europe to be able to offer this product,” said Steffen Schenk, COO at Teltec Group.

Aiming to help content creators achieve greater imaginative freedom, the PXW-FX9 is the first Sony XDCAM camcorder featuring an advanced 6K* Full-Frame sensor and Fast Hybrid Auto Focus (AF) system. The camcorder is particularly well-suited for music videos, drama and high-end news shoots. The PXW-FX9 is expected to be released before the end of 2019.
