Sony showcases collaborative innovation with partners Celexon and connectSignage on premium display kiosk solution
Weybridge – September 23rd, 2025: In collaboration with AV specialists Celexon and signage software expert connectSignage, Sony has unveiled a new premium kiosk solution built around its 98” BRAVIA BZ53L 4K Professional Displays. Designed as an attention grabbing, double-sided installation for life-size visual communication, the solution highlights Sony’s commitment to working with trusted partners to deliver striking signage experiences for retail, corporate and educational environments.
At the core of the double sided display are two Sony BZ53L BRAVIA 4K Professional Displays, each an impressive 98 inches, extending from floor level to maximize full-format impact. Offering dual-sided playback, the kiosk becomes a focal point for brand, advertising, and information messaging, whether in retail stores, fitness centers, educational spaces or business settings.

Customizable content
The two displays are mounted back-to-back in a portrait format using an elegant, high-quality Celexon display mount. The kiosk stands at 220 centimeters high, with each display delivering up to 1,500 nits of luminance for outstanding visibility, even in bright environments. connectSignage brings its expertise with a no-code, fully GDPR-compliant content management platform—developed in Germany and hosted in a climate-neutral way—that allows users to create, control, and play back content on both displays 24/7. The kiosk solution is also backed by three years of Sony Premium Support, including warranty.
Deep black and glare-free
Sony’s BZ-L series displays incorporate its unique Deep Black Non-Glare technology, combining an anti-reflective coating and low-reflection surface to minimize reflections and enhance contrast. Images remain clear and glare-free from every viewing angle, even under strong sunlight or direct lighting.
“Together with Sony, we were able to develop a visually high-quality stele that can be set up impressively and prominently in any showroom or at any POS,” says Jens Gehring, Director of Brand Business at Celexon. “The display and mount form an elegant unit. On-site setup is easy, with no drilling dust or installation noise.”
“Digital signage works when content can be created and implemented without much effort and without programming knowledge,” adds Patrick Schröder, Chief Growth Officer (CGO) at connectSignage. “With our connectSignage software and Sony displays, which seamlessly support the leading automation and control platforms, it’s all child's play.”
“With this solution, we are working with our partners to show what premium digital signage can do and how easy it is to implement such systems,” says Noelle Giesselbach, Trade & Segment Marketing Manager at Sony Europe. “It takes visual messaging to a new level and enables retailers and businesses to create real eye-catchers on an impressive display area.”
Focus on sustainability
Sony’s BZ-L series flagship displays were developed with a strong emphasis on sustainability. Part of the display housing is made from recycled materials, including SORPLAS™, and the units feature a powerful system-on-chip (SoC) architecture. An Eco Dashboard allows users to monitor and optimize power consumption, while an ambient light sensor further reduces energy use, delivering impressively low overall consumption.
In recognition of its wider sustainability commitment, Sony Europe received the Gold Medal from EcoVadis in December 2024, placing the company among the top five percent of the world’s most sustainable businesses.
This collaborative kiosk project underscores Sony’s approach: working closely with partners to co-create impactful, efficient, and sustainable signage solutions that respond to the evolving needs of retailers, corporations, and educators.
This offering will be available from September 2025 in Germany. Plans for offering this solution to a wider market are under study.
