Sony Launches FE 50-150mm F2 GM 

April 22, 2025 - Sony today introduces the FE 50-150mm F2 GM, the world’s firsti telephoto zoom lens with a maximum focal length of 150 mm and F2 aperture. This lens features a standard focal length of 50mm at the wide-angle end and combines an open aperture of F2 with high resolution comparable to that of a prime lens. This allows for a wide range of scenarios with just one lens for various situations and subjects. As part of Sony’s renowned G Master™ series, the FE 50-150mm F2 GM offers an exceptional combination of high resolution and stunning bokeh, enhancing the imaging results for professionals using the Sony Alpha camera system.

Sony launches its first 800 mm super telephoto zoom G Lens™ - FE 400-800mm F6.3-8 G OSS  

Sony today announces the FE 400-800mm F6.3-8 G OSS (SEL400800G) - Sony’s first[i] 800 mm super-telephoto zoom G Lens. This brand-new Alpha lens flaunts high resolution performance across the entire zoom range, beautiful bokeh, as well as fast, precise, and accurate AF (autofocus). In addition, the inner-zoom design, which minimises change in the center of gravity, allows for stable framing. April 16th, Sony is pleased to announce the latest addition to its full-frame α™ (Alpha™) E-mount lens line-up. FE 16-25mm F2.8 G is a large-aperture wide-angle zoom lens that maintains an F2.8 maximum aperture over the entire zoom range from 16 mm to 25 mm, combining supreme image quality with excellent portability due to its compact and lightweight design.

21st February, Sony is pleased to announce the release of its new compact 35mm full-frame compatible α™ (Alpha™) E-mount lens, FE 24-50MM F2.8 G (product name SEL2450G) standard zoom with F2.8 maximum aperture over the entire zoom range.
